German-born Maren Lueg now resides in the UK where she performs regularly with British and Arab musicians around the UK. She has studied such traditional Middle Eastern wind instruments as the Nay and Zurna in Turkey and Israel and has worked with the internationally recognised artist and world music nominated master of Arabic music Yair Dalal in Isreal.

Her partner Chas Whitaker has been studying Middle Eastern percussion in Turkey and Israel. Over the last 10 years he has been performing and teaching across the UK abroad. He plays in several bands and accompanies many Oriental dancers. He teaches locally in the South West and nationally including the UK's largest drum festivals as well as teaching in Turkey for drum and dance holidays.
